In addition to condo association management, Eye on the Islands, Inc. is also a home watch company specializing in the property management for full-time residents and absentee owners. We assure piece of mind that your home will be looked after while you’re away, it’s the cheapest insurance you’ll ever buy. Whether on vacation or extended leave our tailored service will suit your every need. We serve both Sanibel and Captiva Islands. We are licensed and insured.

Eye on the Islands, Inc. will bundle your services to provide a direct cost benefit. Frequency of inspection is determined by the owner. Typically our clients prefer weekly or bi-weekly service for their personal residence and monthly service for other types of properties. Custom program services are by owner’s request only.

Pricing for homes under 2500 sq ft.

• Weekly - $45.00 per visit
• Bi-Monthly - $50.00 per visit
• Monthly - $55.00 per visit

For every additional 1000 sq ft. there is an additional $10.00 charge per visit.

During each visit we will conduct a thorough visual inspection of the following:

• Check for security of all doors and windows
• Check for water intrusion
• Check security system
• Check for vandalism
• Check for pest problems
• Check for plumbing leaks or other related problems
• Check the operation of hurricane shutters
• Check indoor temperature and humidity for each A/C zone
• Look for any moisture or humidity issues to head off any mold, mildew, or water damage.
• Check that lawn is properly maintained, ie Look for lawn fungus
• Check to see if pool is being maintained properly
• Check mailbox
• Start car if applicable
• Check exterior for anything out of the ordinary

Upon completion of each inspection, we will e-mail our results along with photos documenting any unsatisfactory conditions. We will then co-ordinate with certified service providers for remedy with your approval. Additional rates will apply.

Upon your return

• Turn on water, refrigerator, and water heater
• Coordinate cleaning
• Adjust A/C
• Replace patio furniture
• Raise/remove hurricane shutters
